ABOUT
Lydia
Lydia Berger Gray was seven years old when she landed her first role as a leprechaun in the play “Kids ’n Creatures in Limbo Land.” She’s been following that rainbow ever since, going on tour three times with Montana Shakespeare, performing in the one-woman show “The Amish Project,” co-starring on “Chicago PD” and "Chicago Fire," and featuring in multiple voice roles, among other stage, TV and voiceover credits.
Lydia earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance from Northern Illinois University with a minor study in Music, with a primary focus in oboe. She has also studied singing, stage combat and the Meisner Technique, along with other skills. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
When Lydia is not acting, she manages her own health and wellness business. She is also known for her people-connecting skills. Lydia is active in three Chicago-area networking groups: BNI Referral Exchange, Women Belong and Women of SIL. She has a network of hundreds of business professionals, entrepreneurs and kick-ass artists across all creative fields.
Lydia has occasionally appeared onstage alongside her husband and fellow actor Christian Gray. They and their cat Winslow live in Chicago near beautiful Lake Michigan.
